Your character is your bubble in the arena: its look and its level.
Kinds of characters

You choose your main character on the main screen: tap the bubble icon, scroll to the one you want and tap “Make Main”. Your character does not affect the commission.
Level
Each character has its own level, and it is kept when you change your main character. You raise it with the “Level up for … XP” button in the “Bubble Selection” window. The maximum is level 16.

Getting to level 10 takes 7000 XP, and getting to level 16 takes 26,000 XP.
What a level gives you in the arena
Each level from 2 to 10 adds 5% to mass gain: +5% at level 2, +45% at level 10. The bonus applies in full while your bubble is lighter than 800 and shrinks to zero by a mass of 1000. Levels 11–16 add nothing in the arena. Level does not affect payouts.
What a level gives you in a raid
In a raid (see “The Guardian and raids”), your level sets how much ammo you carry.

Where to get XP
- The “Claim” button in the “Daily tasks” window, once a day.
- Quests.
- Burned fragments from Gift Miner: 10 XP per fragment.
- XP crumbs from bots in the arena.
- “First steps” — lessons on the sections of the game, a button on the main screen. The XP from two lessons is enough for level 2.
A character from fragments
Five fragments of the same character unlock the whole character: use the “Get” button in the Gift Miner inventory.
